​The story of APPLAIME began when we witnessed a massive wave of layoffs and downsizing across entire industries in late 2022 and early 2023. This resulted in many talented and dedicated employees losing their jobs, creating fierce competition among job seekers. From firsthand experience, we knew how difficult it is to be without a job and that applying for jobs is a tedious, time-consuming, and sometimes even despairing task. We felt compelled to do whatever we could to help people find new jobs.

​Fortunately, around the same time, several major breakthroughs were made in AI technologies, particularly in natural language processing and machine learning techniques, making things that once seemed impossible possible.
This inspired us to make it our mission to create tools that harness the best of AI technology to take the stress and frustration out of the job application process and make it as effortless as possible for job seekers. ​

We decided to focus on creating an AI-powered cover letter generator because a cover letter is often the first opportunity a job seeker has to make an impression on a potential employer, and as we all know, there is no better impression than a good "first impression." With APPLAIME, job seekers can now easily create a professional and tailored cover letter that is specific to the job they're applying for, all in a matter of seconds!
